Stability

Yesterday saw similar conditions to the day before. Moderate wind effect but minimal slab development. The shady slopes in the Alpine and High Alpine are still cold with wind smoothed areas. Sunny aspects at all elevations have a crust. This thickens and becomes supportive as you decrease in elevation. The lower snowpack is well consolidated.

Snow quality

No reported avalanches yesterday.

Continued snow showers. Gale Westerlies easing early. FAFL 1500m rising to 1800.
