Low

Danger level

1Low

Snowpack stability

The snowpack is well bonded and stable in general.

Likelihood of triggering

Triggering is generally possible only from high additional loads in isolated areas of very steep, extreme terrain. Only small and medium natural avalanches are possible.

Stability

LAST AVALANCHE BULLETIN OF THE SEASON - STABILIZED SNOWPACK Spontaneous releases: unlikely. Triggered releases: unlikely.

Snow quality

Snow Coverage Qualification: The snow coverage is still acceptable for the season. Thin snowpack on south-facing slopes, in the form of snow tongues. On the Maniccia, at 2400 m altitude in the Rotondo massif, there is 12 cm of snow height. Skiable snow limit: around 2000 to 2100 m on north-facing slopes, rare snow tongues on south-facing slopes. Snow Condition: Settling and melting continue and accelerate with the sun and heat. Snow of the névé type, dense, not refrozen, but supportive in the early morning. The snow is heavy and wet on sun-exposed slopes in the afternoon.
